October 2009 -
This project is complete. The new drainage swail and retention pond have been graded out; top soil installed and grass seed spread. This project will eliminate soil erosion from top of the hill onto the Shoemaker track.
September 2009 -
Due to some of the heavy rain storms over summer, the hill that the bleachers at Shoemaker field sits on has started to erode away. We have contracted with a company to sure up the hill directly behind the bleachers and to create a water drainage swail to channel rain water to the drainage ditch. This work is scheduled to take place week of September 14, 2009 and is to be completed in time for Homecoming events..
