The contractor has installed all new alarm strobe lights and horns to bring this building into current code compliance. A new fire alarm panel has been installed and is much more user friendly for first responders to an alarm incident. The new system passed the township fire marshal final inspection on May 6, 2010. This final inspection included a full building test and acknowledgement that the system is connected to the central alarm system at the dispatch office on campus. The contractor has removed the old system devices and wiring.
April 2010 -
The contractor is installing a new complete fire alarm system in Old Main building. R.S. Reidenbaugh contractor is currently working this week in the basement of Old Main near the main mechanical room. There is just a frame of the panel at this time in the building.
