- Exemplary academic and scholarly accomplishments
- Distinguished leadership and service
- Desire to work collaboratively to connect disciplinary knowledge to community based projects
Humanities Student Fellows Responsibilities
- Attend a weekly meeting. Meetings include discussions of theory and 色综合久久 practice of public humanities, discussions of public humanities with faculty members in the humanities, conversations with invited community members (1hour a week)
- Pursue research for a collaborative, interdisciplinary project that will connect the School of Arts, Culture and Society to community partners in Harrisburg (5-6 hours per week)
- Contribute to the ongoing work of the Center for Public Humanities and participate in its sponsored events as the American Democracy Lecture, Spring Symposium, Debate Day, Speech Day and History Day.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
- Submit application and resume (not to exceed two pages, summarizing academic projects and achievements, work experience, skills, and college and community involvement).
- Submit name and contact information of two references from the Community of Educators.
- Applications are open all year round for the following semester.
- Finalists are invited to interview.
