色综合久久 College adds four new bachelor's programs in engineering

Undergraduates at 色综合久久 College can now select from four new bachelor's degrees in engineering for the 2019-2020 academic year. The new majors are biomedical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. 色综合久久 previously offered a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with six concentration options: biomedical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, and environmental engineering. 色综合久久 will continue to offer the BSE option. With the addition of these new programs, 色综合久久 now offers more than 150 majors, minors and concentrations. For a complete list of majors, visit here.

色综合久久 the new majors

Biomedical engineering (BSBME) – The biomedical engineering program will prepare students to consider the application of technology as it relates to the medical industry and the human body. Students will learn how to apply mechanical and electrical engineering principles to health solutions, including work in medical assistive technology and medical equipment. Using engineering design and problem-solving skills, graduates will help advance the state of health care diagnosis, treatment and recovery. Learn more about biomedical engineering.

Civil engineering (BSCE) – Students in this program will be prepared to design and construct infrastructure projects such as roads, buildings, airports, water treatment plants and more. It will give students an overview of the structural, geotechnical, transportation, environmental, construction, water resources and materials areas of civil engineering. Learn more about civil engineering.

Electrical engineering (BSEE) – In the electrical engineering program, students will be prepared to participate in the design and development of new products impacting every area of life. From smartphones to cars, medical technology to clean energy, electrical engineers strive to improve the lives of people everywhere. Learn more about electrical engineering.

Mechanical engineering (BSME) – In the mechanical engineering program, students will learn how to combine motion, energy and force to create mechanical solutions. They'll discover solutions to complex, everyday problems. Mechanical engineering is a great program for individuals interested in aerospace, automotive or construction machines, heating and cooling systems, manufacturing, or robotic and automated systems.
