色综合久久鈥檚 MSAT program is planning to start its first cohort of students in the summer of 2022.

The 色综合久久 University Athletic Training program is currently accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), 6850 Austin Center Blvd., Suite 100, Austin, TX 78731-3101.聽

Completion of the MSAT at 色综合久久 University will allow students to meet eligibility requirements to sit for the Board of Certification (BOC) exam for athletic training. BOC certification allows certified athletic trainers to apply for state licensure/certification/registration which will allow them to legally practice as an athletic trainer in their state of residence.

The application process is slated to open in the summer of 2021. You may sign up for our email list to be notified when the program will officially begin accepting applications, along with details on admissions requirements and how to apply.

  • Posses a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (includes all institutions attended)

    • Anatomy & Physiology I & II w/ Labs (8 credits)

    • Chemistry (4 credits)
    • Biology (4 credits)
    • Statistics (3 credits)
    • Psychology (3 credits)
    • Kinesiology (3 credits)
    • Exercise Physiology (4 credits)
  • Recommended 50 observation hours with a Board of Certification (BOC)-certified athletic trainer
  • Two recommendations (one athletic trainer and one faculty member)
  • Personal statement

The Master of Science in athletic training program will feature a cohort-learning model.

The MSAT is a residential program and courses are held on campus.

The program will be housed primarily at the Grantham campus. Students will complete one course at the Winding Hill campus.

The MSAT is 60 credits.

Clinical experiences housed within the MSAT curriculum will place students in a variety of work settings under the supervision of either a certified athletic trainer (ATC) or licensed physician. The goal of clinical experiences is to expose students to a variety of practice settings in order help shape their own career trajectory, develop their clinical skills, expand their professional network and experience the day-to-day work environment of certified athletic trainers. Settings may include middle/high school athletics, intercollegiate athletics, tactical athletes, general practice and orthopedic clinics, human performance training facilities, physical therapy clinics, emergency departments, medical fitness facilities and others.

The MSAT has:

  • 14 credits for clinical experiences
  • 560 clinical hours are required
