Melissa (Hogan) Ken is a 2011 alum who majored in History with a Classical, Medieval, and Renaissance Studies concentration. She is currently serving and protecting those who serve our nation as a United States Air Force, Active Duty JAG Office. She is also currently serving as an assistant professor of law at the United States Air Force Academy. As an attorney, she regularly uses the critical thinking skills which come with a history major. She also heavily relies on her ability to quickly read and understand large amounts of text, another attribute she attributes to her undergraduate history studies. She is particularly grateful for the opportunities she had at É«×ۺϾþà to engage in research and writing projects. These helped prepare her for legal research and writing and taught her the importance of hard work and dedication.
