Katrina Schrock (’16) has had her plate full since graduating from É«×ۺϾþÃ. She moved to Iowa city to pursue her PhD in Physics at the University of Iowa. Her first year was filled with new experiences. From teaching multiple classes in her first semester, to finding an advisor and beginning training in a research lab, there were no shortages of things to do! Teaching has given Katrina a new appreciation for everything that her instructors go through to help students learn and achieve. She finds it fulfilling when she can help a student understand some troublesome topic. Currently, Katrina is preparing to transition to a Research Assistant position and is looking forward to focusing more on research. However, she will miss being able to help students!
