Profile
I enjoy walking with students as they discover. In a Fundamental or Intermediate course, it is exciting to watch students play with words, produce new sounds, and put these together in creative phrases. In just a few semesters, these same students are communicating with people in other countries and thinking deeply about culture and literature using that “foreign” language. Language is a gift from the God who loves each of us deeply, who wants to be in relationship with us and through us.
