Joanna has experience in a variety of practice settings including home health, assisted livings facilities, skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehab, and community based practice. She is LSVT BIG certified and enjoys working with the adult and geriatric population. She has presented at several state OT conferences and a local teaching conference. Joanna comes with teaching experience at the Occupational Therapy Assistant level. In her spare time, she volunteers for the Dysautonomia Support Network as a board member. Her research interests include occupational therapy’s role in treating dysautonomia, Parkinson’s disease, and utilizing manual therapy for mobility and pain reduction.
